It looks as though Idol buddies Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood might already have done the deed!

Rumours of a potential Underwood/Aerosmith collaboration have been rampant since Carrie and Steven burned up the stage together on CMT's Crossroads and in this live performance on the 2011 ACM Awards show (video below)...

Well fellas, hate to be the one to break the news that you missed out but... it was inevitable.  The lovely, talented and terminally adorable, Amanda Wilkinson, of Small Town Pistols, is officially off the market. 

Gino liked it, so he put a ring on it (and it's a doozey!!!)  click through to see Amanda's tweet confirming the pending nuptials AND the gorgeous engagement ring! (No, the cutie beside her in the photo above is not Gino.  For those who are unfamiliar, that's her bro and duo partner in Small Town Pistols, Tyler Wilkinson.)...

Much sympathy to Dierks Bentley and family this weekend as they mourn the loss of Dierk's father, Leon Bentley.

Capital Hoedown has been embroiled in controversy since artists began dropping the festival from their tour schedules and then, this past week, the City of Ottawa terminating the contract for non-payment.  The city has stated that, without this contract, the festival cannot be held on city property.

Organizers remained confident, throughout this rocky week, that the Hoedown will proceed and the president and CEO of Concert International (the company behind Capital Hoedown) has now released an official statement to the media... (Click through to read his statement)...

Elvis' baby girl, Lisa Marie Presley, has a brand new video for you to check out.  It has a dark "Carnivale" feel to it (if you were among the few of us who were addicted to the HBO series from 2003 to 2005 you'll get what I mean by that...if not, take a look anyway and you'll have an idea of what the show looked like) and I wouldn't exactly call it 'country' (then again, those boundaries are bulging, blurred and broken all over the place so who am I to judge?)

Today, another country star comes screamin' across my VEVO screen covering...who else...Adele (okay who's 'not' covering Adele these days, I get it but stay with me.)  This time it's another country dude, David Nail and he's doing "Someone Like You" (video below) and, I'm not saying the Dierks Adele cover -that I was blocked from watching (thanks CMT US)- isn't but, this one is really, REALLY, good!...
